That Old Fire
For those of you who regularly check my blog, I appologize for the long delay between my last posting and this one. I have been busy. Thankfully, this week is my last week of school. I know, I know, it went really late, much to my dismay, but there's only one more week and then I'm home free. Until that point I thought I'd catch all of you up on what's been going on in my life.
Well, I'm riding again; I mean really riding. That's not to say I haven't been riding, it's just that I haven't been riding with this much intensity in a long time. My trainer, Carolyn Klum (aka Carolyn Nabb), has been working me hard. The first couple lessons she put me on a pony named Snickers, who's probably one of the most abliging ponies I've ever ridden. However, after that she decided to up the ante. I am now riding a very green ex-race horse named Silk. He's bay, beautiful, and an absolute handful. I've included a picture of our last riding lesson for those of you who are interested. Anyway, let me just say that I've got that old fire back for riding. It hasn't felt this good in over a year!
